Swimming has always been Suzanne’s side hustle. She was first certified as a swim instructor in high school and has kept her fin in the water ever since. For more than ten years her aquatic home has been the Swim School at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center. She helped launch the adult learn to swim program at UVAC. She is patient and kind and meets her students where they are; be it terrified or terrifying to their parents. Her students learn the skills necessary to be safe and effective swimmers. An artist and writer, she loves to travel, often on water adventures. In the past year she’s swam in a Lido pool in London, England, kayaked off the coast of Donegal, Ireland and her last paddle of the season is the Witches of Wickford Paddle in Rhode Island. Suzanne and her husband Robin split their time between the Upper Valley and the southern coast of Maine.
