Samantha is originally from Seattle, WA, and attended Dartmouth as a candidate for a Master’s of Public Health for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, Samantha focused on the United States healthcare system and maternal and infant health. As a lifelong goal of Samantha, she hopes to facilitate health and well-being holistically as a physician.
Samantha joined UVAC as a swim instructor during her master's program and quickly fell in love with the aquatics community. Since then, she has grew into a leadership role as Assistant Swim School Director, and now serves as Head Site Director at UVAC's Claremont location at the Claremont Savings Bank Community Center. In this role, Samantha oversees the expansion of UVAC's programs in the Claremont community, including swim lessons and swim team opportunities, helping bring high-quality aquatic programming to even more families throughout the region.
Samantha is passionate about creating positive and safe experiences for swimmers of all ages and abilities. She especially enjoys watching students gain confidence, develop their skills, and discover a lifelong love of swimming.
When Samantha is not swimming, she loves to adventure in the outdoors, bake and crochet, and spend time with family and friends!
