Rosalyn is from Washington state and graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle! She is currently working full time and studying for her masters at Dartmouth College. With a deep love for swimming and teaching, she came to UVAC looking for a way to combine those interests. UVAC became an opportunity to learn how to teach swim survival skills, as well as develop stroke in her little swimmers. Through UVAC's swim school, Rosalyn is now trained in adaptive swimming and is certified in the Swim Whisperers® Program LEVEL 1. She particularly enjoys teaching young swimmers with anxiety around water and guiding them to become independent and safe. Some fun facts about Rosalyn are that she considers butterflies as her lucky charm, she loves finding ways to connect friendship groups, she enjoys spending time outdoors, and swims in lakes, ponds and rivers any chance she gets during the summer!
