UVAC Partners with Sneakers4Good

Pile of used sneakers for the Sneakers4Good program at UVAC

At the Upper Valley Aquatic Center, we believe that wellness and sustainability go hand-in-hand—and that even small actions can make a big difference. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new partnership with Sneakers4Good, a nationwide program that helps extend the life of gently worn, used, and new sneakers while supporting global communities and reducing landfill waste.

What Is Sneakers4Good?

Sneakers4Good is a social impact initiative that collects athletic shoes and puts them back to work in powerful ways. Donated sneakers are either repurposed and distributed to micro-enterprises in developing countries or responsibly recycled, helping to reduce the environmental footprint of discarded footwear by diverting them from landfills.

How You Can Help
Participating is simple—and it starts right here at UVAC. If you have sneakers or running shoes that still have some life left in them, bring them in and drop them off in our designated donation bins located in the main lobby.

We encourage all UVAC members to contribute to this meaningful initiative instead of throwing sneakers in the trash.
