The Upper Valley Aquatic Center (UVAC) will host a formal signing ceremony on May 4, 2026 at 4:00 PM to celebrate six exceptional swimmers who have committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
The event will take place at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center, 100 Arboretum Road, White River Junction, Vermont, and is open to family, friends, teammates, and members of the community.
The following UVAC athletes will be recognized for signing their letters of intent:
Cooper Barter — Saint Peter's University (Division I), Jersey City, NJ
Gabe Clerkin — Ithaca College (Division III), Ithaca, NY
Elina Eko — Denison University (Division III), Granville, OH
Kenzie Sellars — University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Division I), Chapel Hill, NC
Miles Vogt — Seattle University (Division I), Seattle, WA
Sofia Ye — Johns Hopkins University (Division III), Baltimore, MD
“These student-athletes represent the very best of UVAC,” said Joe Major, Executive Director of the Upper Valley Aquatic Center. “Their commitment, perseverance, and leadership have set a high standard for our entire program. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and excited to celebrate this milestone with our community.”
Each of these swimmers has demonstrated outstanding dedication in training and competition, while also excelling academically. Their achievements reflect the strength of UVAC’s competitive swim program and its mission to develop well-rounded athletes prepared for success beyond the pool.
The May 4 ceremony will include brief remarks, recognition of each athlete, and a photo opportunity for families and media.
