The Upper Valley Aquatic Center is a non-profit organization that has become an exercise, recreation, and rehabilitation destination for thousands since our opening in 2009. Families, groups, and individuals use Upper Valley Aquatic Center as a valuable resource to learn and sharpen swim skills, become stronger, rehabilitate, compete and celebrate.
Our Financial Aid Fund—including the Free Hartford Learn-to-Swim program and Community Access Programs—helps support our Center’s goal to “deliver a diverse range of high-quality fitness and aquatic programs accessible to all members of the Upper Valley Community.”
“Our family so grateful for the financial aid membership. Their dad, my partner of 9 years, passed away after a long struggle in the hospital. We feel the sting of losing our patriarch and supporter. During his illness we spent a lot of time eating unhealthy fast food. The membership means we can focus again on our family and being healthier versions of ourselves. We can begin making new memories. Now that we are on one income we could never have participated in UVAC’s programs without this support. My kids deserve so much more than I can give them right now. Thank you for making it possible for them to have something to look forward to. UVAC is helping us be a family again.”
This year even with COVID we accomplished all of these wonderful things!
