The Upper Valley Aquatic Center is a non-profit organization that has become an exercise, recreation, and rehabilitation destination for thousands since our opening in 2009. Families, groups, and individuals use Upper Valley Aquatic Center as a valuable resource to learn and sharpen swim skills, become stronger, rehabilitate, compete and celebrate. Our Financial Aid Fund helps support our Center’s goal to “deliver a diverse range of high-quality fitness and aquatic programs accessible to all members of the Upper Valley Community.”

This year we accomplished these wonderful things, with your help!

  • 6 swim team scholarships went to UVAC swimmers
  • 49 families have received memberships
  • 14 Children received scholarships to attend Splash Camp
  • 23 individuals have received memberships
  • 30+ new participants in the FREE PALS for Life cancer survivor programs
  • 160+ free passes were granted to local charities to use as gifts and for fundraising
  • 1143 hours donated by Volunteers
  • 36 positive reviews on social media (FB, Google, Trip Advisor, letters etc)
  • 80+ Gifts to the Haven shelter for the holidays, 45+ Toys for Tots, 470+ Coats and warm weather gear to The Haven shelter, 10 carloads of food to LISTEN services
  • 10 dogs adopted at two Adopt-a-Dog Events hosted in partnership with UVHS with
  • $6500+ raised by Masters swimmers for Learn-to-Swim program
  • $1,900 raised by Deep Water Volleyball in memory of Anne Greaney
  • $800+ CHAD Hero dollars raised
  • $5,810 Crush Cancer for Norris Cotton Cancer Center
  • $27,065 Prouty dollars raised by UVAC PALS for Life Team
  • 6 LISTEN dinners served by UVAC staff
  • 4 Blood Donation Drives for American Red Cross
  • 3 interns who wanted to advance their skills and start a career in Fitness, Marketing, and Communications 1000+ hours of time learning
  • 25+ hours given to local schools with career interests in fitness via job shadowing and career exploration.
  • Many hours of FREE Exercise content offered on UVAC YouTube Channel

Every Year We:

  • Provide swimming, water exercise and land classes to over 100+ seniors through our Bugbee Senior Center Community Access Program
  • Teach hundreds of children and adults to swim thus reducing the chance of drowning in the Upper Valley
  • Our 60 for 60 Physical Therapy Transition Program provides a bridge for local physical therapy patients to help them transition into mainstream fitness programs 60 days for $60
  • Participate in other community programs like the Passport to Winter Fun Program to encourage children to get active through Upper Valley Trails Alliance
  • Partner with local charities to create warm weather gear and food drives with The Haven shelter and food pantry, food drives and fundraisers with LISTEN Services, and gather toys for youth in our community TOYS FOR TOTS.
