CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER
Lead the member/guest experience and operations specific to the Welcome Desk including oversight of the Welcome Desk staff.  Maintain a high standards of customer service using best practices to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day operations at the Welcome Desk. Cultivate positive interactions with members and guests responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner. Hire and train new Welcome Desk Associates. Mentor and develop Welcome Desk staff and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment. Create and manage of Welcome Desk Staff Schedules. Develop and implement Standards of Service. Manage the approved budget of the Welcome Desk. 37K+, full-time with benefits. HEAD SITE SWIM TEAM COACH – KILLINGTON, VERMONT LOCATION
Upper Valley Aquatic Club seeks a dynamic, experienced Fall/Winter Head Site Coach for our Killington, VT practice site. We are a Level 1 USA Swim team with 140+ swimmers in our three locations. The Head Coach will attend and coach practices, and swim meets. Benefits include membership at Pico Fitness Center, paid sick time and reimbursement for all certifications. Qualified applicants should have the following: USA Swimming Certified in good standing or able to attain upon hire. Previous swim club coaching experience preferred. Capable of developing and working with swimmers on proper stroke technique, introductory strength conditioning and goal setting. Cultivate a culture of fun, interactive and highly competitive atmosphere that motivates swimmers to attain and surpass their goals and expectations. Ability to positively interface with parents.
$20/hour to start, approximately 15-20/week, M-Th 4:30-7pm and some weekend meets. Supplemental income is available through private, semi-private, and group lessons if one chooses. AQUATIC EXERCISE INSTRUCTORS
Teach water fitness courses in a variety of formats to adults, seniors, and special populations. Instruct participants on effective workout methods, explain proper techniques, demonstrate exercises, identify different muscle groups, teach appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles, assist participants, answer any questions and provide positive experience for class participants. Ensure that safety standards are met and that facility policies are adhered to. Must have strong communication skills and a swimming background. One year+ teaching water fitness and any nationally-recognized certification preferred. Current First Aid/CPR certification a plus, but we can certify you. FITNESS MONITOR
Fitness Monitors are responsible for providing a clean, safe and helpful workout environment while providing assistance to those working out. Duties include: helping members learn how to use cardio machines and seated weight machines safely, refer members to appropriate trainers if they are interested in learning how to use free weights or have issues like balance, flexibility, or health issues which might require more assistance, and cleaning assigned areas and assisting with Fitness Orientations when needed. GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTORS
Lead structured exercise classes, assist in the planning and implementation of group exercise programs, offer useful, tactful, and safe advice to individuals regarding their exercise program and/or use of equipment. Enforce all facility and program policies, assist with the maintenance of exercise equipment. Strong communication skills, experience teaching to various groups, an understanding of strength training and cardiovascular exercise. One year+ teaching group fitness and any nationally-recognized certification preferred. Current First Aid/CPR certification a plus, but we can certify you. GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Design promotional material for print and web in a deadline-driven environment. Print and post materials in-house, keeping items organized and up-to-date on bulletin boards. Manage large photo archive. Monitor print ads for accuracy and record keeping. Send info for calendar listings to Valley News. Post to social media as needed. PERSONAL TRAINER
Must hold a certification from one of the following governing agencies:  ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA. Preference given to those with a four-year degree in Exercise Science or a related field. Ability to train a wide variety of clients for issues including: fat loss, joint replacement, chronic pain, senior health and sports. Demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based practices, human kinetics, human anatomy, and exercise physiology.  CPR/AED/First Aid required but we can certify you. Competitive wages and a FREE UVAC MEMBERSHIP with 2 shifts per week and paid vacation with 35 hours+ per week.
